Hello everyone,
I spoke to the Coordinator of Metrowest Family Promise today and we talked about how to incorporate the theme of "personal struggle" and having to adapt to a new surrounding into our curriculum and community. You will be having a Public Service Announcement Project and a DDM writing on this
topic, so it is important to learn about local resources like Metrowest Family Promise.
Here is a link to their organization:

Someone from Metrowest Family Promise will be coming in to educate all of you about the problem of homelessness in the area, MFP mission, community service opportunities and donations that can help these needy families.
Please consider donating some of these items:
Personal care products (shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste) paper towels, cleaning products, granola bars, healthy snacks, healthy drinks (juice boxes). For any 5 items that you donate you will receive one bonus point to be used where you feel you will need it (quiz, test etc). Maximum number of points you can receive is four with twenty items.
